TELKOM Foundry, Ltd. can boast a rich history, as the roots of today's company trace back to the 1960s. At that time, the IBT company was founded, which was engaged in the production of metal parts through pressure and gravity casting.
The true beginning of high-pressure die casting, however, is considered to be 1974 when the first high-pressure aluminum casting machine was installed. In the late 1970s, the company was taken over by Talum from Kidričevo. In the early 1990s, the company exited the Talum system and began its successful independent journey as an independent company with the new name TELKOM, Ltd.
